Terms of Service

Plain English: pay AED 119.99/mo (~$33) for Renu, track your recurring customers in one dashboard, you handle payments with them directly the way you already do, cancel anytime. Full version below.

1. The deal

Renu is a subscription management platform — a CRM tool that helps small service businesses track their recurring customers. By creating an account, you (the “Customer”, “you”) agree to these Terms with Renu (the “Service”, “we”).

2. Your subscription to Renu

We offer two plans: Renu at AED 119.99/mo (~$33) and Renu + AI at AED 369.99/mo (~$101). Prices are billed in AED; your bank converts to your local currency automatically.
Every new account gets a 14-day free trial.
You can cancel anytime from your dashboard. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current subscription period. No refunds for partial months.
We may change pricing with 30 days’ notice by email.

3. Your relationship with your subscribers

You are responsible for the subscriptions you offer through Renu. That means:

You set the price, terms, and services delivered.
You deliver the underlying service to your subscribers.
You collect payment from your subscribers directly.
You handle disputes, complaints, and refunds with your subscribers directly. Renu provides record-keeping software — not customer service for your business.
You comply with consumer protection law in the jurisdictions where your subscribers live.

4. Renu does not process customer payments

Renu is a record-keeping and customer-management tool. It does not process, transmit, hold, or facilitate any payments between you and your subscribers. You collect customer payments using your own existing methods — WhatsApp, bank transfer, cash, your own payment link, etc. — and use Renu to track who has paid each cycle.

The only payment Renu processes is your own monthly subscription fee to use the Renu software, handled by our payment processor (currently Polar.sh / Stripe). Their terms also apply to that payment.

5. Acceptable use

You will not use Renu for:

Anything illegal in your or your subscriber’s jurisdiction.
High-risk or restricted businesses (firearms, regulated substances, unlicensed gambling, adult services, MLMs, etc.).
Charging customers without their explicit, recurring consent.
Scraping, abusing, or reverse-engineering Renu.
Sending spam through any messaging surfaced by Renu.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules with or without warning.

6. Intellectual property

Renu owns the platform, code, design, and trademarks. You own your business data, subscriber lists, and the content you upload. You grant us a license to host and process that content only to run Renu for you.

7. Uptime + availability

We target 99.9% uptime but make no guarantees. Outages of underlying providers (Supabase, Vercel, our payment processor) are outside our control. If Renu has a major outage that prevents access for more than 24 consecutive hours, email us and we’ll credit a prorated portion of your monthly fee.

8. Disclaimers + liability

Renu is provided “as is.” To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim related to Renu is capped at the fees you paid us in the preceding 3 months. We’re not liable for indirect, consequential, or incidental damages — lost profits, lost customers, business interruption, etc.

9. Termination

You can cancel anytime. We can terminate accounts that violate these Terms or fail to pay their Renu subscription for 30 consecutive days. On termination you can export your data for 30 days, after which it is deleted (subject to legal retention).

10. Governing law + disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates (where Renu operates from), without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Disputes that can’t be resolved by email will be settled by binding arbitration administered in Dubai under the DIAC rules — or, if you are a consumer covered by mandatory protections in your home jurisdiction, in the courts of your country of residence.

11. Changes

Material changes will be notified by email at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use after that means you accept the new Terms.

This is the operating agreement between Renu and businesses using our platform. It is not legal advice for your business. We strongly recommend you have your own lawyer review these Terms — and any subscription agreements you set up with your customers — before launching anything serious.
